On behalf of the St. Louis Jewish Book Festival, thank you for seeking information about our annual celebration of authors, books and ideas. On the following pages you’ll find a schedule of about author programs, details on ticket options, sponsorship opportunities, photos and more.
More than 8,000 people attended this year’s main lineup, which included award-winning novelists, humorists, chefs and writers – something for everyone! Our Festival was highlighted by a trio of Keynote Conversations: Anita Diamant, best known for her novel, The Red Tent, visited on October 13. Ben S. Bernanke, former chairman of the Federal Reserve, took the stage on October 22; and Dennis Ross, known for his efforts in the Middle East peace process was here on November 1.
In addition, Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks spoke to a standing-room-only crowd about the need for people of all faiths to join together to end the misunderstandings that threaten everyone. If you missed this incredibly powerful evening, you may listen to an audio recording by clicking here.
Mark your calendars now for our Winter & Spring Bookend events, featuring Mitch Albom (The Magic Strings of Frankie Presto), Tiyi Morris (Womanpower Unlimited), Letty Cottin Pogrebin (Single Jewish Male Seeking Soul Mate), Adam Levin (Swiped), and Margie Piercy (My Life, My Body). Plus, David Gregory has rescheduled his appearance for Thursday, January 14.
I look forward to seeing you soon!
